Prevention is Better than Cure September 2011 Hi there, Mike Edwards saying hello. Been a lot happening in our neck of the woods! Trust we find you in good health. Well have I got some news for you! I am writing a book! Now I am not the only one trying to alert people to the possibilities of cancer prevention, but I believe that I have a unique style, and a feature which makes what I am doing something people are looking for. Ask for newsletter 1. Along with the book writing, I am also producing this newsletter. The first two will be free, and then sent to subscribers only. Be an 'early bird'. After hitting submit, scroll to page bottom and click on 'done'. So read on for a selection from the introduction. Too often I hear, "Well with people living longer there will be more of them dying from cancer". Think for a minute, old age can't alter the percentages, and in fact cancer is the leading cause of death under the age of 50. Cancer is a young person's disease! Bowel, stomach, lung, breast and prostate cancers were almost unheard of 100 years ago. Cancer is a new disease! Observe: As countries have developed industrially - they have growing cancer rates. As per capita income rises - they have growing cancer rates. As chemical use escalates - they have growing cancer rates. As the changes of the 20th century grew in pace, cancer rates grew in tandem. Cancer is a disease of too much of the 'good life' and too many chemicals! So many accept a cancer diagnosis as a death sentence and they simply can not talk about the subject. So often in my experience as I have tried to share some of the ideas that you will discover in this book, I see the person's eyes 'gloss over'. Please don't switch off. I have tried to keep the book small. I believe it is easy to read and clearly set out. Even if you reject the possibility of preventing or reversing a cancer diagnosis, you will find the principles will impact all your health for good. Cancer is a disease we must get out of the closet and talk about!
